The factional Chairman of the All Progressive Congress APC, Cross River State chapter, Mr Koko Dan popularly refered tohto aspas share the money has pledged to purchase nomination form(s) for all Cross River State youths between the ages of 25 to 45 years who are desirous of taking up leadership position from councillorship to senate comes 2023 and constraint by finances, irrespective of political parties.

Koko Dan, made this pledge known on his verified Facebook page today, January 13th,2023.

His exact words “Agents of socialization sometimes referred to as institutions, work together to influence and shape people’s political and economic norms and values. Such institutions include, but are not limited to: political parties, families, media, peers, schools, Money, religions, work and legal systems.

“In the past two decades, youthful contents have taken over major parts of innovations in the media, social enterprises, and above all self consciousness accompanied by trend.

“In Nigeria the youthful campass over time are relegated to the background and in real estate of affairs the youths does the real thing echo from the back while the aged takes the glory in the open scene.

“Vehemently, getting into politics is now the hardest line to step over because the aged have made politics too expensive for the youths and sometime reference the youths as inexperience but turn around to relying on the youths for content development, the meeting from point one to point two, the explicit formula of affairs and the sound echo from the strength of our youthfulness!

Remember, platforms divides us but interest keeps us together. Guys, let’s marry what keeps us together.

“I respect personal interest. One of those youthful ambitions have always been a gold mine for successful innovation, eg, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Julius Malema, Senator Isiaka Aboh etc.

“I thank you for your attention and your opinions are welcome!

    “Happy new year!!!.

  • I Am A Young Person, But Not A Small Boy, I will Get To The End Of This Struggle – Koko Dan

I Am A Young Person, But Not A Small Boy, I will Get To The End Of This Struggle – Koko Dan

A front line contender for the CRS APC Chairmanship position, Koko Dan Esq, has maintained that he will get to the end of his struggle to serve the state chapter of the party as its chief servant.

Koko made this known to theluminenews on a telephone chat when contacted to state his position on the harmonization and adoption of a consensus candidate.

He averred that “I have never been invited to any meeting, I’m not aware of any consensus. In fact I’m preparing for the state Congress that will produce the executive of the party”

Many unanswered questions continue to trail the process as some wondered where is the internal democracy in CRS APC when the man who has put in so much to build, galvanize support and sustained the party in Obudu/Bekwarra/Obanliku federal constituency, Koko Dan is not been consulted in the ongoing harmonization for a consensus candidate.

Koko Dan is said to have enjoyed the support of young people across the state, but vibrant young people who claimed to advocate youth inclusiveness in the polity of our state have buried their conscience in the bizarre appointment.

On what is his next step, Koko maintained that “I am a young person, but not a small boy, I’m a businessman, I will get to the end of this struggle.

“I have invested so much in the party, I singlehandedly paid one hundred thousand naira (#100,000.00) to both INEC and adhoc staff during the ward congress harmonization exercise. I gave all party supporters from both our ward and other wards who came in solidarity, five thousand naira (#5,000.00) each as transport on same day, apart from the assorted drinks, wine and palm wine.

“It might interest you to know that even when my name was forwarded as a delegate for the state Congress, Hon Patrick Achu and Mr Ebe Idagwu connived and removed my name. What an embarrassment to behold. Is this what I should be paid for all the sacrifices I have made to keep this party alive?” He asked rhetorically.

Some of the things he offered party supporters include, Champagne, Glenfiddich 18 years, Glenmorangie, 50 cartoons of beer, 150 litters of palm wine, two goats, assorted food, rice, pounded yam, egusi soup, vegetable, and pepper soup.

Koko deals on those champagne and whisk and he always like to share it with his supporters.

As at the time of filing this report, calls to Hon Patrick Achu was not responded to and that of Mr Ebe Idagu did not connect.

  • Koko Dan Writes The Ukpo’s Heart Touching Condolence

Koko Dan Writes The Ukpo’s Heart Touching Condolence

    Dear Ukpo’s
Growing up was really imaginary when my father used to tell me about you.

As a child, I used to think that Ukpo was a town not knowing that it was a name of a great family. Ukpo is one of the names that magnifies the great Ogoja nation.

As early as five years I knew every name in the Ukpo family.

The name was chanted in every tales by moon light in our local community. It was a lullaby to us.

This family is a pace setter, This family is the light and this family was everyone’s point of positive references and guides to progress and hope.

My father who was Dr. Emmanuel Ukpo’s Tailor in the 60’s would go all out inviting people in my community to come vote for Dr. Paul Ukpo in the 1993 Senate election. The Ukpo’s were my father’s role model and I think my father passed that on to me.

It was a meritorious moment for me knowing the Late. John Akuma Ukpo family in Baltimore USA. It was one of my fulfilled dreams meeting the family that is a morning side dew and a star Trek to every visionary soul.

Today I am a friend to the Ukpo’s and I can’t help but share in their lives in their sorrows, in their gains and in their loses.

As the funerals commences, it will be an honor to have my tears on the ground of the Ukpo family compound and on the great Okpoma soil in honor of your name and for the losses.

At the moment, words are not enough . May you be consoled and be rest assured that a good name is better than silver and gold. And in all it was yesterday. You are today and always.

    Accept my condolences.
    With love.
    Koko Dan.
