A four hundred level student of the department of political science, University of Calabar, Calabar, identified as Mr Michael Efenji has shot death by a suspected gang of armed robbers numbering over 30 persons in number.
The student according to information hail’s from Utugwang in Obudu Local Government Area of Cross River State.
The incident which occured in the early hours of Tuesday 21st November, 2023 (2:30), leaves fears and anxiety in the minds of students and resident of Eastern High, by Goldie street Calabar.
Our reporter can not authoritatively account for what led to the shutting of the students as other victims were robbed of their belongings.
As at the time of filing this report, the corpse of the victim has been evacuated by the police.
