by Earlier today, Hon. Peter Akpanke, the esteemed representative of Obanliku, Bekwarra and Obudu Federal Constituency, demonstrated his commitment to community engagement and solidarity by celebrating Easter with market women at Abochiche junction.
The unplanned event, held in the heart of the community market while Hon. Peter Akpanke was on his way from a Ceremonial Engagement in Ogoja.
Akpanke held that “I will always support market women because, they play a vital role in the local economy and social fabric.”
Following his remarks, Hon. Akpanke distributed some cash gift in appreciation to the market women, acknowledging their invaluable contributions to the economy.
One of the constituents said that “We have never seen a thing like this before in Bekwarra”
