Two persons are said to have lost their lives to a communal Skirmishes that ensued between Abankang and Alok both in Ikom Local Government Area of Cross River State.
The two communities are along Ikom – Ogoja high way.
Commuters have expressed concern that the Skirmishes if not checked might put their lives at risk.
The crisis is not unconnected with land dispute.
As at the time of filing this report, soldiers have been deployed to the boundary to maintain peace.
