In a show of sportsmanship, Hon Legor Idagbo has stepped down from Cross River Northern Senatorial race for Sen Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe.
This was disclosed at the Ogoja Local Government Council Hall today April 30th 2026, venue for National Assembly aspirant screening.
Speaking during the screening, Sen Jarigbe Agom, noted that “My brother Rt Hon Legor Idagbo and I have come here to tell you there is peace in Cross River North, and we have decided that we should present me for the election”.
The decision for Legor Idagbo to step down for Sen Jarigbe Agom, did not come as a suprise to many as Legor had stopped consulting when he noticed that Sen Jarigbe Agom, had more acceptability at the time.
