The winners of the Mr and Miss Ipem Ihihe 2026 Beauty Pageant have received their cash prizes, marking another significant milestone following the successful conclusion of the cultural event.

The prize presentation was conducted by the Chairman of the Central Planning Committee (CPC), Dr. Gabriel Ukwada, who presented the cash awards to the winners and runners-up in recognition of their outstanding performances during the pageant.

The overall winners in the Mr Ipem Ihihe and Miss Ipem Ihihe categories each received ₦500,000, while the first runners-up received ₦300,000 each. The second runners-up were awarded ₦200,000 each.

The pageant provided a platform for young people to showcase their confidence, intelligence and talents while demonstrating an appreciation of the cultural values, traditions and heritage of the Bekwarra people.

Speaking during the presentation, Dr. Ukwada congratulated the winners and commended all the contestants for their participation, discipline and sportsmanship throughout the competition.

He also appreciated members of the Central Planning Committee, sponsors and other individuals whose contributions helped make the 2026 edition of the pageant a success.

The organisers said the prize presentation underscored their commitment to encouraging excellence, rewarding merit and creating opportunities for young people to take an active role in the cultural life of the community.

The successful conclusion of the Mr and Miss Ipem Ihihe 2026 Beauty Pageant and the presentation of the prizes have further highlighted the role of culture, youth development and healthy competition in promoting unity and celebrating the heritage of the Bekwarra people.
