The Cross River State Youth Leader, Mr Brown Odey, has called on the member representing Obudu/Bekwarra/Ogoja federal constituency, Hon Peter Akpanke, to extend his free transportation for OBO students to Yala Students.

Mr Odey made the call when he read the news of the extension of the free transportation for OBO students to Monday 15th and 16th of January 2024.

The youth leader wrote; “Wonderful! Pls am begging Hon Peter Akpanke to extend its kindness to Ogoja/Yala Federal constituency. We have plenty of students from Yala who need help. God bless you more”

When contacted, Mr Odey noted that “I don’t think that what Hon Peter Akpanke, is doing is just representation. It goes beyond that. I have since heard of the many good things Hon Peter Akpanke has doing even before he was elected to represent his people. We must keep politics aside.

“God has bless The Rock. Help me tell him to think about Yala Students too. Majority of them needs the help, and I don’t have the capacity to help”

This appeal comes on the heels of the extension of the free transportation services by two days as approved by Hon Peter Akpanke.

As at the time of filing this report, it is uncertain if Hon Peter Akpanke will oblige to the appeal made by Mr Brown Odey, he was yet to read the messages sent to his WhatsApp number.
