The Senator representing Cross River North Senatorial District, Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, has facilitated the construction of an ultra-modern recreation centre in Ibil, Ogoja Local Government Area of Cross River State.
The site for the project was officially handed over to the contractor by Mr. Egar Mgbantul, Constituency Officer to Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, in Nkum Irede Ward.
According to the Senator, the project is aimed at enhancing public engagement by providing a suitable venue for community meetings, sporting activities, social events, and other recreational programs. He noted that the initiative will contribute to improved mental and physical well-being, crime reduction, and the strengthening of community bonds.
The recreation centre is also expected to stimulate economic and social activities within the area, attract investments, and align with the Senator’s cardinal agenda of infrastructural development.
