Alerts of 100k to 100 students, 10 per ward in Obudu have begun dropping.
The initiative codenamed “JariBurs” is an ongoing efforts by Sen Jarigbe Agom to provide support to students of tertiary institutions in Cross River Northern Senatorial District.
The first phase had 500 hundred students drawn from the Five Local Governments that made up Northern Senatorial District and were given #100,000.00 One Hundred Thousand Naira only, totaling #50,000,000.00 Fifty Million Naira only.
The second phase has commenced and students of Obudu Local Government Area have started receiving alerts.
The second phase also has #50,000,000.00 Fifty Million Naira to be disbursed to students.
A release made available to Theluminenews by Mr Jonathan Ugbal, indicates that Obanliku students will get their alerts later today.
