The Lumine News had reported that ASUU has suspended its strike, but the Union’s President noted that the said release with the signature of ASUU President, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi went viral on Wednesday evening.
It was titled ”Notice of suspension of ASUU indefinite strike action of all member universities across Nigeria and dated 18th November 2020.
A fact check on ASUU verified official tweeter handle @assu, marked the notification statement as fake news.
