Jarigbe Inspects Ogoja Governor’s Lodge, Commends Governor Otu on Infrastructural Development

The Senator representing Cross River North Senatorial District, Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, has paid an unscheduled visit to the site of the new Governor’s Lodge in Ogoja.

During the visit, Senator Jarigbe commended the Governor of Cross River State, Bassey Edet Otu, for the extensive infrastructural projects being executed across Cross River North and the state at large.

He expressed appreciation for the development, noting that the governor’s unprecedented infrastructural drive has brought visible progress to Ogoja. According to him, the people of Ogoja are happy and grateful for the ongoing efforts. He added that this progress is not surprising, as the governor has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to development and a detribalized approach to governance.

Senator Jarigbe also pledged to continue mobilizing his constituents to show their appreciation through massive support as the governor seeks re-election in 2027.

“In this administration, we have witnessed the return of a vibrant business environment in the state,” he said. “Before now, after the tenures of Donald Duke and Liyel Imoke, the presence of contractors had significantly declined. Today, however, we have a governor who has revived business activities, with contractors actively executing projects across the state.”

The Lawmaker was accompanied by the Executive Chairman of Ogoja LGA, Hon. Chris Agbe, High Chief Timmy Tom Udam, Papa Dornclaimz Enamhe, Chief Wabily Nyiam, Uko Inaku, Mr. John Asu, Engr. Thomas Odu, Princess Otanya and many others.
