Members of Team Jari Media have paid a courtesy visit to their Principal, Distinguished Sen Jarigbe Agom , at his Abuja residence, where they held an interactive session focused on personal development, career growth, and their continued commitment to supporting his political aspirations.
The visit, which took place earlier today, provided an opportunity for members of the team to express their appreciation to the Senator for his support, encouragement, and the opportunities he has extended to them over time.
Team Jari Media comprises more than 30 members residing in Calabar, Lagos, Ogoja, and other locations across the country. The delegation at the Abuja meeting was made up of members resident in the Federal Capital Territory.
Speaking on behalf of the group, the Special Adviser on Media, Mr. John Agom Agom expressed profound appreciation to Senator Jarigbe for providing a platform that has positively impacted the lives of members, translating into tangible opportunities for personal and professional advancement.
He noted that some members of the team are currently studying overseas under the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) scholarship programme, while others have secured gainful employment with various federal government agencies. He also highlighted members who are pursuing entrepreneurial ventures and building their businesses, attributing these positive developments, in part, to the Senator’s generosity, goodwill, and commitment to empowering youths.
Mr. Agom described the visit as an opportunity to reaffirm the team’s loyalty and support for the Senator, particularly as political activities ahead of the forthcoming campaigns gather momentum.
“As campaigns are set to begin, we have come to reaffirm our unalloyed loyalty and support for you. In the spirit of our commitment, we are presenting this public address system to support communication and mobilisation efforts, alongside an additional copies of 80-Leaf exercise books for distribution to primary school pupils. We also wish to reaffirm our support for our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC),” he stated.
In his response, Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe expressed appreciation to the team for the visit, the thoughtful gifts, and their continued show of solidarity and support. He commended the members for their initiative and encouraged them to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to their respective aspirations.
The Senator used the interactive session to engage members on their individual goals, career plans, and personal development objectives. He encouraged them to embrace hard work, take deliberate steps towards self-improvement, and acquire relevant skills and knowledge that would enhance their competence, expand their opportunities, and position them for greater accomplishments.
He further emphasised the importance of continuous learning, determination, and purposeful engagement, urging the members to make the most of the opportunities available to them and remain committed to becoming productive contributors to society.
The meeting provided an opportunity for mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and renewed commitment among members of Team Jari Media, reinforcing the importance of investing in people, nurturing young talents, and building a network of individuals equipped to contribute meaningfully to their communities.
